Add new cryo-generated seismic events layer #708

Closed trey-stafford closed 1 year ago

Description

Title. This dataset comes from the GEUS Dataverse: Cryo-generated Seismic Events in Greenland](https://dataverse.geus.dk/dataset.xhtml?persistentId=doi:10.22008/FK2/ABMBLO). As currently configured, this layer is derived from a text file (; delimited) that only includes datetime and location of seismic events. A user would need to look at the other data in the Dataverse dataset to know more about these events.

With no unique identifiers, I expect it to be challenging for us to join this with other data to add that information... :(

Right. It seems like the datetime is the only real identifier here, and I could imagine that could conflict.

Given this issue, and other issues around dealing with associated data (e.g., the need to read 'nordic formatted' data with software like SEISAN, we should decline this PR and close the associated issue.

Do you think we'll come back to it? Or should we get rid of the branch?
