What I generally do is exporting assets in PDF, and import them directly in Xcode and let it render correctly regarding of devices resolution. Make sure to check the Preserve Vector Data option (available since Xcode9) and choose Single Scale like shown on the image below.

Ah yes, I knew this feature existed but honestly forgot to use it on my latest project! Any downsides you're aware of? (performance for instance)

Hum, I've been using this method for more than two years now and I haven't encounter any drawbacks yet. However I don't recommend using pdf for views or images with a shadow, this will not render correctly. But for flat icons without a shadow, this solution is perfectly fine.

I’d love more design videos like this! This was great because I’m starting to get my developer feet wet in design, and this video was very helpful to see how easy it is to create simple icons. Thanks, Ben!
