Options for positioning of mark amounts #9

Open nstanger opened 11 years ago

e.g., end of question vs. in margin.

Note: any such options should be deactivated when in marking schedule mode, as the marking schedule text is inserted between the question body and the number of marks. Nice positioning of the number of marks is irrelevant for the marking schedule ☺.

Possible key values: marks at end (default), marks in margin, others…?

Perhaps marks in margin could be the default for marking schedule mode.

A thought: create a \markshere macro (or similar) that prints the marks at the current location. This could be used manually to control position of marks anywhere within the question, and by default could also be included in the opening of the marking environment. (But note that marking maps to comment when not in marking schedule mode, so need to look at this as well, and the case where there’s no marking environment at all.) When expanded, it sets a flag to say the marks have been printed to avoid multiple occurrences.

32 will probably make this easier.
