This is already included in the color editor, there are some opacity sliders you can drag. As for OS default style, it's unfortunately difficult to do at the moment.

Support to apply transparency to other places, such as browser window

When Vivaldi-fox is disabled, the tab bar is transparent, and vibrant on Mac.

But when enabled, it is monocolored.
