Not sure what the router call to trigger changes in NAT forwarding, so uanble to break in as yet. Tried to hand force it to see using method at http://www.systutorials.com/816/port-forwarding-using-iptables/ but no joy.
Trying new tack: putting a miniupnp client on the router and then use that to talk to the upnp fort forwarding that is already in the firmware. Assuming that works, would be wise to update that to the latest version of miniupnpd as well. (that update possibly NEWTB3 though)
upnpc client from miniupnp now working, various wrapper scripts seem to work, just trying to get it to trigger correctly from the web pages and at start up ...
start stop script (/usr/sbin/manage_user_nat) works, as does /usr/sbin/rc_app/rc_user_nat.
Next challenge is to get these correctly integrated into start up sequence and changes from the web pages.
Start up now works. Changes on the web pages a bit problematic.
Seems good.
The destination IP on the internal network is now set with a port.
