After mkdoit, etc., clean this up.

Ideally, this could be implemented as a series of versions, each implementing another feature.

• Start with TMbase only with a trivial algo
• Add a simple driver
  • w/o commands
  • w/ commands
• Add some algorithm steps
• Add SW Status commands
• ...
