cmd_clt reports (NULL) at startup/shutdown #75

This should report the current user to disambiguate interactive commands in the log. The problem exists under Ubuntu 14.04, not under cygwin. What about Ubuntu 18.04 and/or the yocto build for varsomam33?

This behavior has not been observed on Ubuntu 18.04.
