Fix switching desktops #8

Maybe an issue with using classic shell for Windows 8 but when I switch desktop I can't open the start menu, all the stuff I have on the normal desktop appear or anything. It has the background and a windows icon in the bottom left corner but that's it.

Still happened on my laptop, when I switch desktops I can't do anything in it. It almost looks like the explorer.exe is frozen or something cause when I click on the windows icon nothing happens. It'd be cool if we could figure out how to start the regular startup applications instead of just having an empty workspace.

Also sometimes the software freezes when I'm in a different desktop.
