RHEL Version: Red Hat Enterprise Linux release 8.7 (Ootpa) Kernel: Linux he2-6525.dev.research.5544.nrl.navy.mil 4.18.0-425.10.1.el8_7.x86_64 #1 SMP Wed Dec 14 16:00:01 EST 2022 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
According to https://packages.ntop.org/centos/ RHEL 8 requires installation of the REMI repositories to install NTOP products.
However, after installing the NTOP products (including the Zero Copy drivers, all following the steps from those instructions) running:
dnf list installed | grep remi
Shows no packages are from any REMI repository. EPEL, NTOP and RHEL repositories only in that list.
NTOP is running fine (PF_RING with ZC and N2DISK)
Is REMI still needed for NTOP installation?
It is likely it is no longer required, we will verify this asap
