Are we stopping tracking on the new feature development? #1120

Hi there

It seems there is no new important feature delivered more than one year....I am wondering are we still on tracking of 3.2 and 4.0? Because I see there are much more efforts put on tools seperation, compile optimization, enviroment issue resolving and such things etc than on those planned features, I understand those things are also important, but I just doubt whether if we are off range of this project's development.... I am not going to point fingers as you developers may have your consideration and this project is an open source and I should not ask too much, but just, just wondering if there were still planned features delivery could be avaliable later on or only the maintenance job afterwards...?:) thanks.

Hejj,

I am wondering are we still on tracking of 3.2 and 4.0?

Yes, and we still see 3.x as "compatibility" line and 4.0 as the next big leap... whenever it will happen.

It seems there is no new important feature delivered more than one year....

Currently maintainers can indeed not commit as much to development as they'd love to...but of course contributions from community are always welcome...

That's just what current contributions are. We would gladly see all fields being served and more contributions incoming.

I am not going to point fingers as you developers may have your consideration and this project is an open source and I should not ask too much, ...

Don't worry, not considered finger-pointing... people are just busy with other things.

but just, just wondering if there were still planned features delivery could be avaliable later on or only the maintenance job afterwards...?:) thanks.

Plans still are as written down in 3.x and 4.x visions.

Glad to hear you, man. This VPN software does really help me a lot in the home intranet setup across the complicated internet, so I just hope we could move forward on those good features, thanks for your efforts.

There have been recent improvements in the recently released fork n3n. So, if you had specific features you were hoping for, you could raise tickets over there.
