Nedge VLAN Trunk mode no traffic #4850

Hi,

When Bridge VLAN Trunk mode is enabled Nedge doesn't pass VLAN traffic.

Bare Metal Ubuntu Server 18.05 Intel e1000e NIC VLANs from PfSense to Switch VLAN package installed/enabled bridge-nf-filter-vlan-tagged = 1 Packages installed from ntop repo Dedicacated Management interface

20-nedge-mgmt.yaml network: ethernets: enp3s0: dhcp4: false addresses:

20-nedge.yaml network: version: 2 ethernets: ens1f0: addresses: [] ens1f1: addresses: [] bridges: br0: addresses: [] interfaces: [ens1f0, ens1f1] parameters: stp: false forward-delay: 0 bridges: br0: addresses: [192.168.160.10/24]

I can send SSH access for advanced troubleshooting if needed.

Should be fixed in the latest nEdge 5.0+. Please, check, and possible reopen if necessary.

Hi Patrick, Did your system get to work? I have a similar set up and I cant get traffic through

Just noticed that if i add the vlans in the GUI then select one vlan as the Wan and LAN under network interfaces then the traffic goes through but just for that one VLAN. Is it possible to have an option of adding a range of vlans in the VLAN config menu? Because then we can just add the range and then pick it under WAN and LAN since we cannot pick all the VLANS there

@tomoxwell we pushed a fix for the Vlan Trunk mode, please update (a new package is already available) and let us know. Please bridge physical interfaces and enable the Trunk mode, no need to create all the VLAN interfaces.

Dear Alfredo, I am writing in regard to the issue I raised of the dashboard not showing anything on nedge 5.7.230403. Since last week after an upgrade I can't see anything though the network is fine. I am therefore requesting that we schedule a time that you can look at this. I have also attached a screen shot of the same. Hope to hear from you soon. Regards
