I would like to contribute to this project to fix few of the issues that have been reported, and to change the integration on Home Assistant to use config flow integration.
I have mostly done the changes in Home Assistant Core, but I would like to make few changes in this library:
Avoid reconnecting connection in an infinite loop during initial setup
Fix issues with Power On not being detected
Avoid generating unnecessary warning in Home Assistant because of unrecognized command
Migrating asyncio coroutine decorator to async def
I'm starting to make all those changes to the library and will submit a PR for it.
I can see that the project hasn't been updated for a long time, so if there's no follow up in coming days/weeks, I hope you wouldn't mind for me to take over the ownership and creating a new library from my fork.
