Feature Request: Show time and battery status somewhere #21

For one to use Pandafe as a full replacement GUI/launcher, something is missing, such as a little time indication as well as battery. There are key OS indicators that are very relevant for the user to know when they should be doing something else, i.e. stop playing and get back to work, or charging the pandora if it's already down in battery level.

Worth pointing out also that my battery level does not function correctly, never has, so development and testing of that feature might be a little tricky.

UI-wise, a very simple digital clock in one corner (either up or down) would do, next to a battery indicator icon showing the percentage remaining. Shouldn't take much space.

Re. this matter, if you need testing for the battery level, I have 2 Pandoras at home so I can definitely confirm if it works on it when you implement it.

I support one of the requests from ekianjo: it would be very nice to have the battery level and time in Pandafe even if it is only in the main menu.

This "even if it is only in the main menu" comment is actually a good way to get this feature implemented without blocking on the question of how to integrate it well with the main browser ui. Putting it in the main menu -- especially if the main menu is a full screen as you suggested elsewhere -- should make it lots easier to integrate in the short term.
