Hello there

I tried in a raspberry pi 4 in the latest Raspbian buster os the shareware versions / demos of blood and redneck rampage both are not working, the full versions are working through, can you fix the demos not working issue?

Thanks

Shareware data files are not compatible with NBlood/Rednukem.

This would be cool to get working but is currently unscheduled. I'll leave the issue open to track the feature request.

The request to support Shareware versions of Blood has been raised for some years on the duke4 forum, but nobody seems motivated even now.

This is essential for preservation, and Shareware versions have new features compared with the final version.

Shareware isn't really about supporting the files, but also requires an overhaul to a ton of the AI/actor logic, and nobody seems to have reverse engineered the earlier versions - all of the reverse engineering for the various source ports are focused on version 1.21.

Until someone does the heavy lifting, it will not be a priority to support shareware.

The shareware version is working for me with https://github.com/GPSnoopy/BelgianChocolateDuke3D

EDuke32 and VoidSW support shareware mode because Duke Nukem 3D and Shadow Warrior had their source code released, which included all the shareware-specific code. Blood, RR, and Exhumed have no such luck, so tmyqlfpir's point stands.
