This is accurate to DOS and NBlood is demo accurate.
Is this an error or reasonable behavior?
It appears intentional that hellhounds do not deal full flame damage. Being on fire is a value rather than a binary state, and getting hit by flame projectiles will raise this value over time. The remaster heavily differs from this logic due to the lack of build engine code.
When I'm on fire in Blood, is it normal to sometimes get put out quicker than usual? This happened when I was fighting one of the dog enemies. They're called Hellhounds or something.
