Feature - Turn Off AOD Torch #2

Open ThatJeffGuy opened 2 years ago

ThatJeffGuy commented 2 years ago

Since installing this wonderful app, I now have a message on my lockscreen and the AOD that says tap to turn on Torch. I can't find it in any setting or app customizer to turn off.

Please and thanks ☺️☺️

What Android version are you on?

Can you try turning off the accessibility service and see if the message is still there?

If that doesn't work, does turning off the Xposed module remove the message?

I'm Android 12, Pixel 6 non pro on Feb 22 patch.

Disabling the module turns the message off.

Module enabled and accessibility services off disables message but module as well stops working.

When I brought everything back to normal and enabled, the message remains gone. Testing a reboot.

Thanks!

Reboot seems to have fixed it, however I'm still seeing it now when it's actually reading my face for that half a second and unlocking.

Possibly tied to something about the text that says "success" and "no face found"?

I suspect it is caused by the weird hacky way the module uses to dismiss the lockscreen. Can you try turning off the "Auto dismiss lockscreen" option?

ThatJeffGuy commented 2 years ago

No change in effect, text remains. It reappeared at some point after 530pm yesterday as I checked the text placement when my Uber driver was almost there.

I'm not sure what it is that's causing it to reappear. I don't think I've done anything serious to my phone, outside from your tests lol.

I don't have any modules, from any store, that change lock screen behavior.

Thanks!

Hi Long tap home screen->Home Settings->At a Glance settings and turn off Flashlight. It's the new enhanced smartspace features..notification for flashlight will pop under low light conditions. Screenshot_20220514-025541
