Using Ubuntu 22.04 and Firefox installed using apt install and download installs but isn't functional #65

I am using Ubuntiu 22.04, with Firefox installed using apt install, and when installing the switcher add-on, I needed to download a .deb file, which I did, then installed using dpkg -i (and confirmed using apt install), but when I click on the icon, I am still advised I need to download the .deb file and install it! Please let me know if you require more debug details, but any help would be appreciated. Many thanks,

Experiencing the same issue. It used to work few months ago but no longer work after i did a clean reinstall on computer. Did you find a solution?
