Fedora 37/38 profile switcher not working #78

Hi> Have been using the plugin in windows and it works pretty well

but in fedora, even tho i have instaled the companion .rpm it does not work i can

watch the profiles create the profiles delete profiles

but cant switch between them

i can only open them using the about:profiles tab

but is so inconvenient when using the applications

any solutions or thins that i have not setup right?

+1, same issue here. Nothing shows up in journal when trying to click on the other profile I'm trying to switch to, I also attempted the focus fix in the extensions settings to no avail.

+1 profile switching not working, reverted to the ugly about:profiles

+1 Same on Fedora 38 (Firefox version is from the repo). I'll be glad to help, if I can provide some logs or somewhat.

take a look at the workaround in the repo of the connector, this worked for me https://github.com/null-dev/firefox-profile-switcher-connector/issues/14

I just installed the extension to Firefox 122.0 on Fedora 39, GNOME Wayland, and applied the workaround. But I do not see the icon of the profile switcher add-on in the toolbar.

Edit: I did not do the setup of Profile Switcher, thanks @NL-TCH for hinting in the right direction. The extension works now fine.
