If a mathematical expression gap-fill has the answer i*pi, then the pretty-print next to the answer box in the editor correctly shows this as i\times\pi, but when revealing the correct answer within an exam, the answer box shows pii as does the pretty-print. In addition, an answer of i*pi entered into the gap is marked wrong.
This is in contrast to any other constant multiplying pi, e.g. 2*pi, 3*pi, etc., all behave as you would expect.
