I express my continuing distaste at Python 2.6. But I had made a typo as well.
Still getting the same error. But I am finished for the night!!
aah! I need to remake each question's metadata! Whoops!
No, that isn't it... Maybe Loughborough aren't automatically updating their compiler along with the editor.
Until Loughborough get their act together, just making sure that the descriptions and author's notes for each question are non-empty will work around the problem.
But the exam http://tallaght.ncl.ac.uk/exam/86/matrix-questions/ still fails to upload to Numbas, L'boro even though all descriptions and author's notes are present in all questions.
Hm! Then I'll have to wait until Richard replies to my email about updating. I've checked our servers and they work, so I think it is just that Loughborough is out of date.
I see that you managed to get MAS1041 Test 1 loaded.
I think that we have to be careful with the question database as we now have the same questions with different authors. I have just gone through and eliminated duplicates that I created of my authored exams by attempting to upload exams into L'boro Numbas on several occasions - the questions get loaded but the exams not. So there is the opportunity for some confusion here!!
Uploading a question into Numbas at L'boro does not work - just get an empty question.
Oh, uploading questions doesn't work at all. I need to look at that again. For now, uploading it as an exam should work. You'll get an extra exam you need to delete, though.

The following exams when uploaded to numbas at L'boro produce error messages for the source files. They both run OK on tallaght.
http://tallaght.ncl.ac.uk/exam/59/mas1041-test-1/
http://tallaght.ncl.ac.uk/exam/83/leicester-algebraic-manipulation/
Similarly for http://tallaght.ncl.ac.uk/exam/86/matrix-questions/
