espeak mbrola Hebrew and Arabic #32

How do I use espeak for Hebrew and Arabic with mbrola voices? Could I have some CLI examples? I am running debian.

Install espeak-ng, mbrola and mbrola-xx e.g. mbrola-ar1and mbrola-ar1 packages. Then run espeak-ng with MBROLA voice, e.g.:

espeak-ng -vmb-ar1 "مَرْحَبَ"

For more info look espeak-ng MBROLA Voices. Note, that good results can be achieved only with fully diacritized text. To diacritize classical writing you can use e.g. https://github.com/linuxscout/mishkal tool.
