Installation instructions in the README didn't work #598

I had to ultimately follow the platform-specific installation instructions in the Getting Started guide, but the fact that there are also installation instructions in the README that don't work for particular platforms (including mine) is confusing.

Hi, Can you give details what was the problem? And what platform did you install for?

Never mind, README has been updated to resolve this issue.

When did that happen? I don't see any commits to the README recently.

It was updated a month ago, and my branch wasn't up to date. My mistake!
