What is bqplot? Bqplot is an interactive plotting and charting library intended to be used with Jupyter notebooks and ipywidgets. It is a great visualization tool which includes advanced featues such as candlestick chart, choropleth map, correlation map, etc. which makes it relatively easy to use for beginners.

Governance Model

The governance model of bqplot describes the structure and processes for the bqplot project, which is a data visualization library for Python. The governance of the project is intended to provide a crystal clear and transparent decision making processes for the community of contributors and users, and to ensure the ongoing development and maintenance of the project.

The governance outlines the roles and responsibilities of various members of the community, including the project lead, core contributors, and external contributors. It also describes the decision-making processes for the project, including how proposals are made and evaluated, how new contributors are brought on board, and how conflicts are resolved.

Decision Making The Streering Council been at the top in the role hierachical, shoulders the responsibity of decision making in the bqplot governance model, which includes the overall scope vision and direction of the project, strategic collaborations with other organizations or individuals, fund sourcing and spending, etcetera.

Difficulty In Researching The contents on the bqplot governance page provides me with an all inclusive information I needed to know about bqplot and its governance model which makes it relatively easy to understand the bqplot governance model, but reading on goggle about bqplot futher provides me with an indept view to what bqplot and its governance model is really about.

Conclusion In conclusion bqplot governance model provides an efficient structure and process for the BQplot project, while maintaining and all rounding connectivity between the contributing teams and the BQplot project.
