On a project level there are often events, projects, or development efforts that might attract specific funding from various companies and funding agencies.
Something like a library of organizations that NumFocus has contacts with would be valuable to the projects. The contact need not be public, we could reach out by asking NF for an introduction. In fact I think this is important for rate limiting.
This is particularly valuable when a project is engaged with developers or users in an organization already, but need a second contact on the "funding" side to reach out to for sponsorships.
Projects can potentially also submit their contacts to this library and we can take advantage of network effects from so many different projects.
This unconference provides the Project Summit attendees with an opportunity to share insights into the financial realities of sustaining open source work and exchange ideas for future funding opportunities.
