There is a Numix Circle icon but the default icon path is hardcoded. Could you report this as issue for the hardcode-fixer script please (link on thefrontpage)?

For an immediate fix you can edit the icon line manually to Icon=ardour

Or even better, report it to the upstream coders.

This is coming from KXStudio repos .... It maybe because the official repo on Ubuntu is still on version 2, while this one is on version 3
