Bad bottom window border rendering #704

Under Xubuntu 18.04 beta with Xfce 4.12 the bottom window border is roughly five pixels but should be one I think. Please have a look at this screenshot:

Which distro? I can't reproduce this. Nothing has changed for gtk2. I can't find anything from gtk2 log either.

As I said I tested on Xubuntu 18.04 64 bit beta. This is an official variant of Ubuntu with the Xfce desktop environment: https://xubuntu.org/news/testing-for-xubuntu/

I tested this again with the final (not Beta anymore) live disc / image with Xubuntu 18.04 64 Bit. I got the image from this page: https://xubuntu.org/download Unfortunately the issue is still there when I select the Numix theme.

I have the same problem on Debian unstable with Xfce. Wasn't sure if it's a bug but if it is I can confirm it.

I can confirm this issue in Xubuntu 18.04. I guess this is related to #100 and 6057a2d907a2e3014ae9e268e1aed8dc819a55c8.

Edit: Reverting the changes in 6057a2d907a2e3014ae9e268e1aed8dc819a55c8 fixes the bottom border width.

Hmm...Lets c what can be done about this without bring back issues from #100

Not sure but it looks like this isn't an issue anymore in Xubuntu 20.10 Groovy Gorilla. Previously I had to fix this bug for every major version jump in Xubuntu e.g. from 19.10 to 20.04.
