hello!

i'm not sure if this is even the correct place to ask, but.

i really like the icon theme, and the gnumeric toolbars are missing a lot of icons

keep up the good work

Are they themeable?

bilelmoussaoui commented 7 years ago

I don't use gnumeric to try if the icons are themable or not...But i can't imagine an application that will use few icons from the gtk theme and the rest not :)

palob commented 7 years ago

I've got it installed but can't find the icons. @bil-elmoussaoui Where did you find them.

Something needs to be done, the original icons are really atrocious.

I downloaded the source code of the application. The icons can be stored somewhere else other than /usr/share/icons. Almost every app, stores the icons in a different folder, looks for the icons on the theme folder. if the theme got the icon use it, if not use the default one. You can try by adding an icon from the list I have added, refresh the icon cache and you you will see that the icons are replaced :)

Well, I searched under / so I should have found it.

I've got the same issue with Octave, Latexilla.. I always look for the icons name on the source code

thanks @bil-elmoussaoui i'd not seen bug messages due to filtering crap, only seeing them now

don't know a lot about how the icon stuff works, but gnumeric looks like its' own can of worms, thanks for looking and finding out that they can be themed
