Well, there are two types: .sci and .sce. Both x-scilab. I'll try do xcos (circle icon) and its mimetype too.

bilelmoussaoui commented 8 years ago

@Foggalong Not fixed yet :p

hlechner commented 8 years ago

@bil-elmoussaoui could you provide the original mimetype icon of each one of the scilab listed here?

it's a lot harder if there are no reference design

bilelmoussaoui commented 8 years ago

They are the same as the one i posted here. Just the text changes

and what you think if use the ChuckDaniels87's icon and add just the text for each file?

bilelmoussaoui commented 8 years ago

Would be great ! As the rest of the icons look so ugly :P

bilelmoussaoui commented 8 years ago

In his PR he mentionned that he does not have the time to fix this one. I don't know if that has changed

First drafts: imageimageimage

Description: Added the text (but for these drafts I didn't aligned yet) to files and use a symbol size of an inferior size: 64>48, 48>32, 32>24, maybe i need tweak a bit but it's the essence. what you guys think?

andia89 commented 8 years ago

Hmm. One px upwards?

andia89 commented 8 years ago

@hlechner You still have them?

hlechner commented 7 years ago

wow, it was a long ago, sorry @wa4557

I think I still have it but I didn't have finished it, let me take a look.

palob commented 7 years ago

What exactly are those BIN files? I think the BIN lable might make it look too generic like a general binary file.

hlechner commented 7 years ago

I don't know actually, I just tried to create a label by the mimetypes names.

Maybe @bil-elmoussaoui can help us with the @palob question

palob commented 1 year ago

I'd just do symlinks here. If anyone is still around and still uses Scilab: do we actually need the symlinks or are those additional mime types subclasses of application-x-scilab so the existing icon is already being shown?
