upgrade ubuntu #8

Perhaps we should upgrade to a newer ubuntu. It doesn't seem pressing, but the support will go away at some point.

I would suggest to only spend effort on that if/when needed. I expect that the current version will work as is for quite a few years.

its still supported for 1.5 years. Also the next 5 year lts is due in 6 month. When I first used vendor I briefly tried updating it to a later release but that failed on some wine regressions. They should be fixed now so it could probably be done. But there is indeed no big need for it. More important is trying to get it to use mingw64 which could be done together with an OS upgrade.
