Key import via QR scan does not work #65

I'm using nunchuk app on redmi note 13 android.

The app does not detect during QR code key import, just remains in camera mode.

The phone has a separate "scanner" app for qr codes, this led me to install Electrum, as I wanted to see where the problem is.

The camera just does not scan QR codes in nunchuk, then I tried on Electrum and no issue.

Please fix this in next version.

Thank you for contacting us about your issue @Green-hue Unfortunately, we are not able to reproduce it with latest nunchuk app version 1.9.52(247). Please watch our video, it’s work with Coldcard Q device on our side.

FYI I have the same problem, I have tried 2 different phones (Pixel / Samsung) and 3 different app version and I cannot import the xpub, I can sign transaction - this used to work though, not sure why it stopped - The QR can be scanned by other QR apps and extracted format is correct - Scanning xpub QR code from jade works

@saiththerobo (Nunchuk and gen json) I managed to barely scan the QR code key on the coldcard, this is how:

I held the coldcard Q up with one arm, lay on the floor. Device faces me. I held my phone with the other arm, camera facing up. Zoomed out about 75%. Slowly, it scanned in this manner: 14%, 29%.... for 5 seconds. This is just my observation, I don't know how to make this process faster. Sometimes the scan can't complete as I 've tried to repeat the process to see the success rate.

I have also used sparrow to generate QR key, (after importing with sd card) and my phone scans quickly - no special floor laying technique used.

Awaiting eagerly for the Seedsigner fix.

@Green-hue a trick with Seedsigner is to export the QR code using the Sparrow export instead of Nunchuk and it should work

Let's give some time for Nunchuk devs to unissue the issue.
