Arabic spelling correction (إملاء) #10

Arabic spelling mistakes are very common, even among native speakers. A tool that could identify these mistakes and notify of them would provide value.

On this note, Google doc's correction of Arabic spelling is quite good.

I know a Google chrome extension that do that for English, it could be an inspiration. The extension name is Grammarly.

QALB (Qatar Arabic Language Bank) is a joint project between the NLP Group at Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar (CMU-Q) and Nizar Habash and colleagues at Columbia University , New York University in Abu Dhabi, and University of Paris-Sud. The project aims to build a large corpus of manually corrected Arabic text for building automatic correction tools for Arabic text.
