[Bug]: Routers dropping off network after couple weeks #1713

What happened?

Hello all, I am having some problems with the Zigbee2MQTT and my routers (CircuitSetup's CC2652P2 and Sonoff 3.0 Dongle Plus). I flashed the routers with the "CC1352P2_CC2652P_launchpad_router_20221102" firmware.

The routers would connect to the network instantly, and devices would route to them and work no problem. This worked for a couple weeks, and everything was rock solid. Now, I have a bunch of devices that will now work and when running the MAP I get an error.

"Failed to execute LQI for 'Sonoff Router'" Both routers now have failed to get on a map and the devices that were connected to the router are not responding.

I pressed the pair button on both of the routers to make them leave the network, but now they will not re-add. This has happened multiple times. I installed Zigbee2MQTT on a dedicated RPi running Raspbian, I have installed Zigbee2MQTT on my home automation Debian Server, and I have installed the Zigbee2MQTT Addon with a RPi Hassio.

Both routers have dropped from the network after a couple weeks on all three instances.

The only way I can get them to join the network again is by reflating the CC1352P2_CC2652P_launchpad_router_20221102 firmware to each router and re-pair it to the network.

Any idea why BOTH are dropping off the network and no longer working? Also, they both drop off the network at the same time. One does not drop off and the other works okay, they both fail simultaneously.

I created a new pan_idD, ext_pan_id and generated a new network_key, and reconnected/ repaired all of my devices/ routers and everything has been rock solid for ~10 days with no issues at all.

Last night, I started messing with my Unifi Wi-Fi Settings, putting it to auto vs manually controlling my channels, band width etc. Then I lost communications with my routers again. The routers both routers failed to get LQI, and the devices that were associated with them no longer work. I unpaired the routers from the network by manually with pressing the pair button. They left the network and they will no longer re-join the network again.

Those devices that were routing through the removed routers will not connect directly to my coordinator. When trying to repair the lost devices they will not unpair and leave the zigbee network.

I may just get rid of my two routers and hopefully everything will be normal. I'm trying to find a solution to this. I really don't want to be resetting my network every 2-3 weeks when the routers drop off the network. I may just get rid of my two routers and hopefully everything will be normal and wont have any weak connectivity issues.

Aren't the end devices supposed to search and connect to the coordinator when the routers are removed? Once the end device is connected to a router will it only connect to that router ?

Anyone ever experience anything like this before? Have any solutions to try to figure out why things wont unpair/ repair?

Thanks for any help.
