Allegedly this was implemented by Logback (the feature is marked as fixed), but I couldn't get it to work using the pattern. The package names I entered to be filtered were sent to Log4J somehwere, and it attempted to parse them to an integer, which obviously failed.

Can you please update the article to explain how to use the feature (as Logback's task to document it is left unattended for years now)
