i always have this screen, i just click ok and "esc" it should prompt you to start Fedora soc.

rickyaandrew commented 3 years ago

yeapp but this time round fedora is not starting up. ill boot up windows instead i dont know why

hmm then im not very sure where the issue lies... maybe you can try writing Fedora again to your thumbdrive?

When you click okay do you get an option to choose between the USB and Windows bootup?

Because that's what happens for me and I just switch to USB bootup and it works.

so after clicking OK i got the first picture as my screen. then if i press the first one, it will boot up windows, if i press the second option, it will give me the error as shown in the second pic

This seems like a network boot option instead of the USB boot option. Does your computer detect your USB drive? Is your computer a ThinkPad? This seems like a ThinkPad problem too. Maybe you can check if the link below helps. https://support.lenovo.com/sg/en/solutions/ht118361

my laptop is lenovo legion, i dont think it detects USB drive tho. yeaa it seems like its network, but i dont have any other options to boot up anymore

Maybe try this link: https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/cl/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/legion-series/legion-y520-15ikbm/80yy/80yy0679/solutions/ht500207

hmm read through this but whenever i tried booting, it only have those 2 options 1) windows boot manager 2) EFI PXE network

if i press windows boot manager, it will restart windows, if i press EFI PXE it will give me the boot failed message. not sure now to go about now
