A few things (Tomorrow lecture, tutorial allocation etc.,) #5

Hi all,

A few things to do (that can be done!) before the lecture tomorrow.

Admin

  1. It is nice to see a few of you active on Slack! Keep up the good job. Post any queries you have there and we will try to answer at the earliest.
  2. (Strongly suggested) Please join the slack channel mentioned on the course website; much of the communication happens there.

Lecture

  1. We will be covering a few learning outcomes in the lecture. To make the best use of the time you can do the following a. Try the learning outcomes for week 2 beforehand. (Best case!) b. Install Sourcetree/Git on your laptops. c. Clone the Addressbook-Level 1 repo.

Tutorial allocation

  1. For CS2103, we will try to finalize your tutorial allocation by the end of the week.
  2. Exchange students, we understand the bidding period started only yesterday for you guys. Please choose all the sessions you think you can attend, on ORATUT, so that you can get a tutorial session.

I saw the following on the CS2103/T Website under Team Forming tab: "CS2103: Form tentative Phase A teams in week 2 (during the tutorial). Finalize Phase A team in the subsequent tutorial. Form Phase B team on week 5." Does that mean tutorial is starting this week?
