Information for Week 5

Dear Students,

Please take note of the following:

• Check the website’s Project tab under weeks 4 & 5 for required submissions before the tutorial day, 23:59 (https://nus-cs2103-ay1819s2.github.io/cs2103-website/schedule/week4/ and https://nus-cs2103-ay1819s2.github.io/cs2103-website/schedule/week5/). Note that this week you are required to:
  • create PRs
  • submit a PDF draft of the User Guide on LumiNUS (“UserGuide Submission” folder)
  • attempt the exercises and read the information under Topics and Tutorial tabs for weeks 4 & 5 before attending the tutorial.
• Individual PRs should be named using the following convention: [WEEK_ID][TEAM_ID]Your Name. For this week, WEEK_ID is W5 (week 5). If you are in tutorial W14 (i.e. Wednesday 2pm) and team 1, [W5][W14-1]James Yong. -The organization name should be: CS2103-AY1819S2-[TEAM_ID]. e.g. CS2103-AY1819S2-W12-1. Team PRs should be named using the following convention: [Team ID] Product Name e.g., [T09-2] Contact List Pro.
• Only PRs made to the Sem 2 repositories (for example: https://github.com/nus-cs2103-AY1819S2/addressbook-level2) will be graded. PRs made to the upstream repos (se-edu, for example: https://github.com/se-edu/addressbook-level2) will be closed and not receive any marks.
• We will automatically check your individual PRs. You should receive an email before your tutorial.
• The website (specifically Appendix E: Using GitHub https://nus-cs2103-ay1819s2.github.io/cs2103-website/admin/appendixE-gitHub.html ) has been updated with information about naming of organization and labeling PRs. The updates are reflected in this announcement.
