loan slip is also generated after renewing loans. Perhaps it should be mentioned in the UG or the loan slip can be updated to show that it is a renew instead of loan.

Team's Response

In standard libraries, a loan slip is generated even after the renewal of a loan, and it is appropriate to treat a renewal as an updated loan. It is appropriate for librarians to give an updated slip to the borrower so that the borrower can refer to the latest due date. Therefore, this is the intended behaviour and is therefore not a bug. With regards to how we can update the loan slip to show that it is a renew instead of a loan, that is a great suggestion that we can indeed work on and we thank you for the suggestion. However, it is clearly stated in the CS2103T instructions for PE not to post suggestions for v1.4.
