App doesn't switch panels when selecting a different entity, but the nested panel still changes

Initially assignment panel shows 906:

User goes to student panel to manage student, then enters "select aid/903" to view course

Screen still remains on student panel:

But open switching to assignment tab the selected assignment has already changed:

Team's Response

Overlooked this, as we did not think about users selecting when in the wrong tab. However, the severity is more suited for low, as the user can use the simple switch commands to change tabs.
