User Guide instructions do not work in application

The parameter "student name" is in parenthesis and the application requires that I enter the student name in this command. I'm not too sure if "student name" is supposed to be an optional command or if the parenthesis is redundant.

There was an error in the command format shown and it should not have a [] bracket. Thanks for pointing that out!
