Activity Diagram: Do paths coming out from a branch node has to be joined back by a merge node before ending? #440

We have received a bug report (issue #3350) for a missing merge node in our activity diagram.

Can we clarify if this is wrong? Thank you.

OK to omit the merge node as it doesn't alter the meaning of the diagram in this case.

The same doesn't apply to parallel paths though (because the end of parallel paths should be clearly shown, as the flow cannot resume until all parallel paths have been completed)
