  1. Can I confirm that for this type of question, we do not need to explain why the diagram is not compliant? Rather, the justification is to indicate the name of the solid diamond.

  1. Also, can I clarify if we are still allowed to refer to the code in Part 2 while doing Part 3?

Yes it is correct for this instance but don't take it as a blanket rule, do read the questions carefully during the finals! Some of them ask for justification, not just name for similar question types.
