Minimum width of software too wide

The software seems to set a minimum width that is too wide. I am using a HiDPI 16" MBP and I can't minimize the software window to less than 3/4 of my screen, meaning that the minimum width is very likely to be too long. (Also, this hinders usability since people cant snap their UG side by side)

Since the NFR in DG says that it should work on any mainstream OS as long as Java is installed, this app is very likely possibly unusable on devices with 1024px wide viewports or 1280px wide viewports (which both are still non-negligible viewport width sizes.

We did this purposely because we want users to get best view of the application. We mentioned this in UG also.
