A deliverable can involve mutliple people of the same names. For example:
Matthew Lim, matLim@gmail.com Matthew Lim, matthewLim@gmail.com
Thus, it is justifiable for the PM to write "Matthew, Matthew" as he wishes, for conciseness and effectiveness when including both persons in the deliverable. It is unjustifiable for the app to enforce that the names can't be duplicates i.e. two people of the same names can't be involved in the same deliverable or writing the lengthy "Matthew from division A, Matthew from division B" More so, the field is just an optional note for the product managers to write in if they want to add names into it so as to make it less restrictive.

Duplicate names should not be allowed under the contacts of deliverables, but there is no checking involved. For example, I can edit a deliverable to put two contacts named "random name" together.
