add_student's argument GUARDIAN_PHONE_NUMBER can be same as STUDENT_PHONE_NUMBER #3115

STUDENT_PHONE_NUMBER and GUARDIAN_PHONE_NUMBER should not be allowed to input the same phone number since they are from different person (student and guardian)

Team's Response

Hi thank you. The team has thought of this issue before, however, we also thought that it could be possible for a primary school student to not have his / her personal phone number and would be using his / her guardians phone number as well. Hence, we our team decided that to satisfy this use case, we should allow both student and guardian phone number to be the same. Hence, we felt that this is not an issue.
