Favourite is the spelling in British English, and can be a bit inconvenient for those who practice American English and spell it as Favorite.

Team's Response

Dear responder, thank you for highlighting this issue. However, we are using British English in Singapore and as individuals who are studying and living in Singapore, we believe that we should be using the standard form of English in Singapore. We see no need for us to use American English unless we are based in America. Another point I would like to point out is that this is a design decision. It is how I, as the implementer, wants to use British English and made has specifically stated in the user guide that the command is spelt that way. If users are unsure of what "favourite" mean, just because of an additional "u" in the word, they can easily google it as "favourite" is an English word and not a word that is made up. Cambridge dictionary has also kindly included what is the American English equivalent of the word "favourite". Here is the link : https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/favourite
