I think there should be some sort of warning if you have already exceeded the total MC to be taken.

Team's Response

We did not implement a warning when the total MC is exceeded as we feel that the change in colour is enough of an indicator to show that the target number of MCs has been reached for the user. Additionally, whether the user exceeds the total MC to be taken should not matter too much as the target would still be considered satisfied, which is enough for this feature to achieve the goal of tracking the user's course progress.
