To clarify, a domain label refers to words in a domain that is separated by a period. In addition, hyphens are not necessary and thus your conventional emails like gmail.com, hotmail.com and even NUS emails, like u.nus.edu are all accepted.
An example of an email with a hyphen is a-mail.com

Note from the teaching team: This bug was reported during the Part II (Evaluating Documents) stage of the PE. You may reject this bug if it is not related to the quality of documentation.
This is actually very disruptive to the user. It basically says that the majority of the emails such as "xxx@gmail.com", "xxx@u.nus.edu" or "xxx@hotmail.com" will be rejected since they are not separated by hyphens.
