Grading system is incomplete and not useful #2472

Description

There is only 1 grading system in the software and students can only be assigned 1 grade. However, realistically a student will have multiple subjects with different grades that they scored in each of them, not to mention that the subjects might have different grading systems.

As a user (teacher) managing a class, if I want to create a report card for the students in the class, I can only do so for 1 particular subject because of this constraint.

Furthermore, a teacher managing a class is likely to want to keep track of a student's progress, so there should be multiple grades for a subject for a period of time (1 grade/semester).

Not having these features greatly affect the usability of the Grading system of the application for a teacher who can most likely teach several subjects.

Team's Response

Our intention for this app is not to store multiple grades. It is more for teachers to key in the grades for one exam and then exports it.

Usually, teachers only teach a single subject.

Also, schools have a unified grading system removing the need for multiple grading systems.
