The second sentence in the screenshot was phrased in a confusing way. A better way to phrase it would be : This makes it easier to refer to the details of frequently visited contacts.

Frequent contacts is generally used as a noun. No ambiguity in understanding Whatsapp uses this: https://www.quora.com/On-what-basis-is-%E2%80%98Frequent-contacts%E2%80%99-in-WhatsApp-listed-What-algorithm-is-used
