Team's Response

The search feature allows for partial matching of tags, as mentioned in the UG: "For search with NUSNET ID, group name or tag, partial search is supported."

Thus, it is impractical to enforce that the user input matches an existing tag, since we want to allow users to input values that only partially match some tags.
